A 39-year Capitol Group veteran, Jon is our Senior Piping Systems Specialist responsible for the market development of our more technical piping products. His vast knowledge and decades of experience provide building owners, institutional staff, healthcare facilities, engineering firms, code officials, and contractors with the latest piping options available to them. Whether conducting group product presentations or on site factory certified training to installers, Capitol Group is committed to providing both traditional and emerging piping product options to maximize your project success with Jon’s help and expertise.

After working summers in HVACR in high school and college, Kirn received his associate’s degree in HVACR Technology from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI and his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He is certified as a geothermal installer through the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA) and heat pump installation and service through North American Technician Excellence (NATE). With 20+ years of experience in the field and technical support, he joins Capitol Group as we look to build support and education for our customers.
